The Friar
The friar is known as a beggar trying to get money to the less fortunate. Yet in reality, he spends the money on gifts for women and spends most of his time at the bar. He is a joyous fellow who would carry around pocket knives and pins for pretty girls and play the hurdy-gurdy.

“This Is Me”
This Is Me
After graduating high school I would like to go to Michigan tech to get my bachelors degree, majoring in engineering. After college I plan on getting married and building a house. At my house, some of the things I want to have include: a boat, a nice car (preferably a Subaru STI), a big swimming pool, and a path for snowmobiling and dirt biking. These are things I like right now so they will most likely change by the time I am an adult
When it comes to sports, I consider myself fairly athletic. I have played soccer, hockey, tennis, and baseball, and I am currently doing pole vaulting in track. Another thing I participate in is marching band. It is a huge commitment and a big toll on our bodies physically and mentally. I play the tenors (quads) on drumline so marching in 80 degree weather for 9 hours a day is very tiring. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll be good enough to play with Drum Corps International.
In my free time, one of the things I like to is snowboard. I have been snowboarding for three years and before that I skied from the time I was about six. My family and I have been out west to Breckenridge in Colorado. It was a blast, except for the part where my mom and I got altitude sickness. Another hobby of mine is fishing. My dad got me into it and I have loved fishing ever since. He has a fishing boat and we go out with a group of guys every week on lake michigan. We have also been to Ontario Canada with ten other guys on a primitive week long expedition. Basically anything that involves being outside interests me.
Some clubs I am involved in are robotics and EAA Experimental Aircraft Association. In robotics I am on the build team so my main contribution to the team is fabricating parts for the chassis. It is always fun finding out what the game for each year will be and figuring out what design will be the most efficient for scoring the most points. In EAA we have been building a a Taylor Craft taildragger for the past few summers. Once we finish the plane I plan on using it to go through flight school and eventually get my pilot's license.
I am currently a busser at RyBelles and I work in the shipyard at Anchors Way Marina. At the marina I do things like pump gas and clean boats, but we also step the masts on sailboats. I also do a lot of repair work which is what I like the most because it fuels my interest in engineering. I have worked at both jobs a lot this summer putting in hours at an upwards of 60 a week. I am saving that money so I can get an early lead on saving up for college.
